Welcome to Let’s Get Sewin’ — where creativity and fun go hand in hand.

We started teaching sewing over 15 years ago, and it has truly been the best “job” we’ve ever had (if you can even call it a job — it never feels like work). As the saying goes, do what you love and it won’t feel like work, and that has absolutely been our experience.

Over the years, we balanced sewing work and part-time jobs while raising our four children. Once they were grown and on their own, it was time to focus on something that brought us real joy and allowed us to be our own bosses.

Opening our studio in 2010 as a place to teach sewing and share this skill with others was the natural choice — sewing has always been our happy place.

Donna is the sewing teacher and the heart of our classroom, helping students of all ages learn with patience and confidence. About eight years ago, we added embroidery to the mix, and that’s where I, Gino, found my creative home as the embroidery artist behind our stitched designs and personalized pieces.

One of the greatest joys has been watching families learn together. We’ve had moms and dads take classes alongside their children, and seeing them grow in skill and confidence side by side is incredibly rewarding. Sewing and embroidery have a way of bringing people together, and being part of that journey is what makes this work so meaningful to us.
