Each student will have available to them a sewing machine and the necessary tools for sewing.
I will also provide the basic patterns until the students progress, at which time they can choose a commercial pattern at my approval (for ease of use). Students are responsible for purchasing thier own fabric and notions (thread, zippers, buttons etc.) needed for each project. All fabric should be pre-washed before using to prevent shrinkage of finished project. Be sure to check the washing instructions when purchasing your fabric, some may need to be “dry cleaned only”.
Students will learn how to iron and press seams.
It is important to arrive and be picked up promptly so each student can receive their full class time without interruption.
Tuition will be due on the first day of each new session. If the student decides not to participate after completing the first two classes, 50% of the tuition will be held; thereafter no refund will be given.
(There will be a $35.00 charge for any returned checks)
Any missed classes can be made up only if I have been notified 24 hours in advance.
Missed classes must be made up by the end of the enrolled session or they will be forfeited.
We will follow the same holiday schedule as the Danvers Public School System with regard to days off and snow days.
